Part No.: 34-1900B-24V
Part No. USA: 36252
Description: Electro-Magnetic Float Switch 24V
Voltage: 24V
Max Amp.: 8 A
The automatic switch protects electrically operated
pumps and gives fully automatic operation.
The switch is made of corrosion-resistant materials.
SPX FLOW Johnson Pump submersible bilge pumps have a T-slot on the housing
or mounting bracket. You may push the switch into place on the pump.
If you wish, a small drop of water-proof adhesive will lock the switch on the T.
Screws are recommended for fastening the switch only if your pump is not equipped
with a T-mount.
Installation
The switch is suitable for all SPX FLOW Johnson Pump submersible bilge pumps in the marine environment. To be installed in the keelson. The switch is designed to attach the SPX FLOW Johnson Pump Cartridge bilge pump. To attach it to another SPX FLOW Johnson Pump bilge pump, use the adapter provided.
• The float switch should be located at the lowest position in the bilge and mounted with a base of the switch even or below the base of the bilge pump.
• Always install the switch according to the wiring diagram
• The wire connections must be sealed with a marine sealant.
• Insulation or cable sheathings must be placed above the highest bilge water level.
Never install the Electronic Float Switch at a level lower than the inlet of the bilge pump!
Operation
When the bilge water rises the magnet float floats up and the air in the float house is forced out through the vent hole. The magnet float starts the pump when bilge water reaches 2 inches. The valve closes and the magnet float stays in the start position due to the vacuum inside the float house. When the bilge water has sunk to level 3/4 inches, the air is let in through the air opening in the float house. The magnet float falls down and cuts off the power.
